The Jacksonville Jaguars had some friendly fire on a first quarter punt tonight.
Late in the first period, Jacksonville wide receiver and return,
man Jamal Agnew was back to receive a punt from the New Orleans Saints when disaster struck.
As Agnew stepped up to field the ball, he was accidentally leveled by teammate Tevaughn Campbell, who was attempting to block one of the Saints' gunners.
The ball hit off Agnew and was recovered by New Orleans deep in Jacksonville territory.
Agnew had to leave the game and was evaluated for a concussion, but he eventually returned.
This special teams mishap wound up gifting the Saints a field goal, but the Jaguars have still controlled the game so far.
Jacksonville currently leads 14-3 in the second quarter thanks to a pair of rushing touchdowns by running back Travis Etienne.
Quarterback Trevor Lawrence is also 8-for-9 passing for 97 yards.
